Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, of the British Royal Family are expecting their third child.
William and Kate, who married in April 2011, are already parents to George (4) and Charlotte (2).
Kate is believed to have hyperemesis gravidarum, or extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting, which can lead to dehydration, weight loss and electrolyte imbalances as she did in her previous pregnancies.
The new child would be fifth in line to the throne, after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and before Prince Harry. Britain and other Commonwealth countries that recognize the British monarch as their head of state have adopted certain changes in 2011 under which male heirs no longer receive precedence over their older sisters in the line of succession.
