These recipes have been put together by Healthy Eating Habits Expert Deepti Arora who has mastered the art of dishing out baby food!
Here’s some advice from the expert:
Close to 6 months, your baby will start to give you clues that she is ready for solids. You can watch for the following signs:
- She shows interest in what you are eating
- She holds her head steady in an upright position with support
- She opens her mouth or leans forward when the food is offered
- She swallows food without pushing it back out of her mouth
Always remember to introduce one new food/food group at a time and let the child get accustomed to the taste, check for allergies and then move to the next.
Pear Puree (100 gms)
Puree using a mouli or press through a sieve and add some of the cooking liquid to get desired consistency
