Healthy Breakfast Idea: Moong Dal Idli Recipe
We all in our family loves Idli.
I tried moong dal Idli and it came out so well.
Here’s the recipe:
1 katori moong daal
1 katori udad daal
1- Wash and soak moong dal and urad dal, separately for approx 3 to 4 hours.
2- Grind urad dal first with little water in mixer
3- Then grind moong daal along with ginger in mixer.
4- Combine the two in a bowl and add little turmeric and hing to it. Keep it aside for fermentation for 3 to 4 hours (don’t keep more than 4 hrs else it will get sour in taste)
5- Once fermented, add salt, chopped onion, coriander leaves to it and the better is ready.
6- Prepare idli steamer and pour the idlis in the mould by greasing the moulds first.
Idlis will get ready in around 10 to 15 mins. Serve with nariyal chatni or ketchup or enjoy as it is
