Dosa In A Fast? Try This Fasting Special Dosa Recipe

 

Now you can enjoy your fast with a Farali Dosa. Here is the easy recipe:


Ingredients:


1 cup Sama (Sanwa Millet)
1 cup Soaked sabudana
2-3 boiled oil and crushed Potatoes
1 cup Curd
2 tablespoon Ginger paste
2 -3 crushed Green chillies
Rock salt as per taste
1 pouch Eno
1 cup Coriander leaves
Oil

 


Method:

 

  1. Clean, wash and soak the sanwa millet in enough water for atleast 2 hours.
  2. In a mixture,  add soaked sama , sabudana, curd, potatoes, ginger paste, green chilli and rock salt and mix well. Cover with a lid and keep aside for fermentation.
  3. After 2 hours add 1 eno pouch in the batter and mix well
  4. Heat a non-stick tawa and pour the batter on the tava, spreading it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  5. Smear a little oil along the sides and cook till both the sides of the dosa turns golden brown in colour and fold over to make a semi-circle.




 

Serve with green chutney and pomegranate raita.
