Mums are the best in everything they do. Don’t you agree? They are gifted with special skills that none could have. When was the last time you thanked her for being one of a kind? Here’s a reminder of how awesome they are!

1. Super Cleaners

What’s that on the floor? Tea! Are those cornflakes on your bed? Not to worry, your mom’s always there to save the day. Can you imagine a day without mom to clean your mess? The kitchen sink would overflow with dishes and so will the laundry basket. Should you be reminded of your home? Of course not! We cannot deny the fact that Moms are blessed with super cleaning powers and yes they’re worth it.

2. The Patient Listener

He has better shoes than mine. I need one too! Now! Did you just ask her something repeatedly? Be it the third or the hundredth time, she will answer you no matter what (do not test her patience, though). She’s always there to listen and let you open up to her. When something goes wrong you know she’s your adviser on any matter whatsoever and if something goes right she’s the first one to know. Even if you grow older and stay away from home, you know mom is just a call away. You can count on her and she’ll be right there for you, anytime, any place.

3. Lost something? Ask your mom!

Mom! Did you see my pair of blue socks? It could have been days since you’ve been searching for that red salwar, or the organiser you had to take to school. No matter where you left those keys, or that pair of silver earrings you bought last week, your mom would know. The next time you lose something DO NOT PANIC. Mommy’s right there!

4. Late to Bed, Early to Rise.

I need macaroni and cheese for lunch today. That’s my best meal. Even if your little sibling kept her awake all night, she makes sure breakfast is on time and the lunch is packed too! She can stay awake all night preparing for the next day at work, yet is early to rise and gets going. She is a brilliant multitasker and also a hard worker. Give her an award already!

5. Mind Readers

You are hungry, aren’t you? Ever been in a situation where she asked you exactly what you were thinking? She knows why that face is gloomy. She can tell when you’re hungry. She’s the only one who knows why her baby is crying. She can be considerate and empathetic. Moms can read what you want to tell her even before you do. She’s the best.
