5 Things All Women Hate In Men

Men are from Mars and women are from Venus, right? Maybe that’s why our perspective on things differ so much. Men are strange creatures that often tend to be blind to things that are right in front of their eyes. So sometimes (most of the times), we have to spell each and everything out to them including their annoying habits.

We’re not wishing that men be banished from earth (well, sometimes we do but moving on) for these unfortunate misgivings, all we’re asking is for men to change their ways to be a little more accommodating and likeable.

1. Dominance

‘I’m the superior gender, therefore you have to listen to me’ behaviour doesn’t bode well for women. Whether it’s an argument or just a general conversation men always want to have the last word. This is not only irritating but their fragile male egos get in the way of being logical and reasonable.

2. Predictability

It doesn’t take a super-genius to figure out that women prefer men that are spontaneous and fun. If a man is planning a date and if it’s on a rooftop or any other place that they don’t frequent, it shows that the man has put effort and energy into making the day special. Being creative and a little unpredictable at times keeps things interesting.

3. No emotions

Men always have the ‘tuff-guy’ face on whether it’s a sports match or their kid’s play. They pretend to be unmoved by human emotions. Although being the rock when you need them to be is not a bad thing, it gets exhausting when you are trying to decode their emotions. All that talk about how women are hard to read is really ironic considering some men don’t even smile when their favourite song is on.

4. No romance either

Have you heard a guy admit that rom-com is their favourite genre? (Even though it actually is). It’s usually horror or action flicks. This is again in line with the ‘tuff-guy’ act. What men don’t understand is that there’s nothing wrong with romance. In fact, romance is an important trait that many women search for in men. You don’t have to do over-the-top gestures to prove your love, a simple I love you every day will fill your woman’s heart with joy.

5. Lack of grooming

Humans are evolved beings, right? From all that cave-men business to civil people who are involved in businesses, we’ve come a long way. But why do some men still insist on being and looking like the early man? Note to self – Beard is sexy but only when it’s well-groomed, you can pull off long hair only if you can afford to spend an hour every day creating that effortless beachy waves look. So keep things simple and clear to look your best self. If women can go through all the pain to look the way they look, men can at least try to look presentable, right?
