They say that when it comes to gifting all about what’s inside the wrapper that matters. But we honestly feel the wrapping matters as well, as it gets a person doubly excited about the gift. Christmas is close and there are presents to be bought and given, but before that, they need to be wrapped! This year, why not think out of the box (literally) and wrap your Christmas present differently?

Here are some gift-wrapping ideas that will make your present look more thoughtful, fun  and innovative.

The confetti-dipped box

Wrap your present as you would, but with plain butter paper, brown paper, white paper or even newspaper. Cover the bottom half with glue and sprinkle colorful bits of paper, confetti, sprinkles, beads or the bits of colored paper that comes out of the paper punch. Funky!

The car and road on a box wrap

This idea is so simple yet so creative, that you would want to use it right away! Just wrap your gift with plain brown paper. Stick a strip of black craft paper and draw tiny horizontal lines across to make it look like a road. Stick a small toy car or any other vehicle on it to complete the magic.

Involve your toddler in this one. All you need to do is wrap the gifts in plain paper. Ask your toddler to finger paint simple patterns with his/her favorite colors. Add your finishing touches using sketch pens and you have a beautiful wrapper with a personal touch.
