Top 5 Play Areas In Mumbai’s Western Suburbs

It’s raining outside, and one can never have enough ideas to keep their little ones actively engaged indoors. Keep a sharp lookout, and as soon as you notice that it’s only drizzling, consider going out to the closest Play Area recommended and reviewed by our Mom Stars…

1. Funky Monkeys Play Center (Andheri West and Lower Parel)

This is an indoor play area with separate zones for juniors (6 months to 3 years) and toddlers (3 years to 12 years). Valet parking, free WiFi cafe and a plethora of activity panels- that’s what has made 14 Mom Stars recommend the Funky Monkeys Play Center.

What’s more? Their mascot might just help your kid notice who, after all, is their ancestor!

2. Smaaash (Lower Parel)

Smaaash has a seemingly unique set of activities for all age groups. These include kart racing, UV- lit bowling, F1 simulator, Plane fighting, The Oculus Rift-Ride, Beat the Goalie, Cricket, etc. Also, they have a separate children’s play area including the soft-play paradise!

Do not forget to visit the Hoopla Jungle and experience inanimate wildlife.

3. Millk (Lower Parel)

For kids between 8 months and 8 years, Millk is an indoor play area with a toddler appropriate merry-go-round, blocks, cars, a see-saw and a sand pit. What’s more? They have a children’s book shelf. “My toddler took an instant liking to the whole of the area”, says our Mom Star, Rhituparna Mitra.

And, ooooh…for you, they have a spa! *We clasp our hands in utter happiness*

4. Kiddington (Kandivali West)

With a ball pool, a trampoline, tunnels, slides, and carousels, Kiddington happens to be a play area for kids between 3 and 10 years. There is also a café, where our Mom Star Deeksha Anand found the food good, fresh though we had another MomStar mention it was expensive. The equipment is clean but it can get crowded. Do carry cash; there is a 5% levy on cards.

5. HopnBop (Khar West)

HopnBop has a Little Monsters (6 months to 3 years) and a Big Monsters (3 years to 8 years) zone. They have a soft play area and an activity center including a water bed. Our Mom Star Neha Chopra says “It was a fun place for the kid to hang out while mommy did some shopping”.
