The smell of freshly baked cookies is one memory that has been my favourite since childhood, it always brings back a warm feeling when I am reminded of it. This is one Christmas activity that is sure to evoke a lot of nostalgia when your kids grow up too. Let your child decide what type of cookie they want to bake and if they are old enough to make the cookie dough then let them do it. Toddlers can help you cut the different cookie shapes with Christmas-themed cookie cutters.

Who says you need snow to build a snowman? Building a snowman indoors without snow is something I tried with my daughter because I didn’t want her to miss out on the fun experience of building one, something which I enjoyed in the mountains as a child. Living in cities like Mumbai where we don’t get to experience snow, this indoor snowman is the best alternative. All you need are two round paper lanterns and some coloured chart paper to create the snowman’s face and hat. Watch your child’s face light up with joy!
