The 10th month is exciting for the baby as well as the parents as the menu can be prepared by opting out the thick purees and including more of solid foods. Do not confuse the child’s inability to consume the extra servings, he/she might just be a picky eater. So you must insist your child has the certain nutritious food in the diet even if the child creates a fuss in eating them. Also, respect your child’s independence if he or she refuses to be spoon fed. In fact parents should and more often than not, gleam with joy when the child begins to grab the spoon and learns to feed himself or herself. Be patient, buy those extra aprons and table mats and be prepared to wipe off the mess your child will create in learning to feed himself. This weekly food chart for a 10 month old will give you an exact idea of the kind of nutrition you must learn to incorporate during this particular stage of his growth.
