Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee Blessed With A Baby Girl

Celebrity couple Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee have become parents to a baby girl. Their daughter was born on 3 April 2022. 

Gurmeet Choudhary announced the news through his official Twitter handle. He wrote, “With utmost gratitude, we welcome our “BABY GIRL” into this world. 3.4.2022 Thank you for all your love and blessings. Love & Gratitude Gurmeet & Debina. (sic).”

They also posted an adorable video on Instagram where the baby’s hand unfolds after they both reveal their hands. The video however did not show the face of the baby. 

Post the announcement, their social media has been flooded with congratulations and wishes from fans, friends and family. 

Debina Bonnerjee kept herself active during pregnancy and had also shared her pregnancy journey on social media stating how it is a mix of joy and some tough moments. 

She also practised headstands during her pregnancy. However, she said that she only did it because she had been practising it for many years. She had further also advised that one should only do it if advised by an expert. 

During her pregnancy, she had also shared about her challenges. In one of her posts, she mentioned her third trimester. She had stated about her issues like swollen feet, the continuous toilet runs and constipation. 

However, despite the sneezes and the challenges, she was glad it could finally happen after so many years. It is indeed one of the happiest moments for the couple. 

After announcing the pregnancy in February, Gurmeet and Debina had also celebrated a traditional Bengali baby shower ceremony called ‘Saadh’. Saadh consists of all the food items prepared by the maternal side that the pregnant woman loves. This was done by Debina’s mum and she had also posted about the same on social media.

Besides their newborn biological baby girl, the couple have also adopted two girls from Gurmeet’s hometown in Bihar. 

Gurmeet and Debina got married secretly in 2006 and then made their relationship official in 2011. Here’s wishing the new parents wonderful adventures as they embark their parenting journey.
