Bollywood celebrities are known for their unique sense of style, personality, and creativity. When it comes to naming their children, they often take a similar approach, opting for names that are catchy, quirky, and have a special meaning behind them.

Take a look at some of the interesting celebrity kids’ names and their meanings.

Interesting Celebrity Kids’ Names And Their Meanings

Raha Kapoor

There were a lot of speculations about actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s newborn daughter’s name. Fans were eager to know what they would name their little girl. The two finally chose to name their daughter Raha, which means “free-spirited” in Persian.

And we hope Raha too grows up to be like her mamma Alia Bhatt, who is known for her vivacious, spontaneous and free-spirited personality.

Taimur Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son, Taimur Ali Khan’s name caused quite a stir on social media when he was born. Taimur means “iron” in Arabic, but it is also the name of a 14th-century Mongol conqueror, Timur, who was known for his brutal military campaigns.

Saif and Kareena defended their choice, saying that they simply liked the name and did not intend any connection to the historical figure.

Misha Kapoor

Misha is the daughter of Bollywood’s chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor, and his wife Mira Rajput. The name Misha is a combination of the first letters of her parent’s names. Mira chose this name as they wanted a simple and cute name for their daughter. Misha also has a Russian origin, where it means “God-like”.

Shahid and Mira have been very open about their love and affection for their daughter and often share adorable pictures of her on social media.

Misha is quite popular among fans and her name has even inspired other parents to combine their names and come up with unique names for their babies.

Abram Khan

Abram is the youngest son of Bollywood’s King, Shah Rukh Khan, and his wife Gauri Khan. The name Abram is a variation of the name Abraham, which means “father of many”.

Dad Shah Rukh Khan has earlier revealed that Abram’s name is a mix of both – Prophet Ibrahim and Lord Ram, since they are a Hindu-Muslim family.

Nitara Kumar

We’ve all heard of babies named Tara, but Nitara is indeed an interesting name. Nitara is the daughter of Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, and his wife Twinkle Khanna. The name Nitara means “having deep roots” in Sanskrit.

Just like her name, we’re sure Nitara will surely grow up with strong values and a deep connection with her culture, just like her parents Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna.

Azad Rao Khan

Azad is the son of Bollywood’s perfectionist, Aamir Khan, and his wife Kiran Rao. The name Azad means “free” in Urdu. Aamir and Kiran probably chose this name as they believe their son should have the freedom to choose his own path in life.

Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan

The names of Hrithik Roshan, and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan’s sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan are derived from the words “Hrithik” and “Sussanne”. While Hrehaan means “God’s chosen one”, Hridhaan means “great heart”.

From Taimur to Raha, each name reflects the parents’ hopes and aspirations for their child. Besides being unique and interesting, one thing is for sure – these names will catch everyone’s attention!
