Apart from being a good parent, she encourages every mother to look at life beyond parenting. On her social media platforms, she discusses various topics around motherhood, beauty, fitness, nutrition, and fashion. Mum influencer Zahra Jani lives her life to the fullest and inspires all mums to do the same, without feeling guilty about their choices.
Here’s what she shared with BabyChakra about her life and how she manages to make time for everything besides being a hands-on mum.
I am Zahra Jani, mum to my five-year-old girl, Alizah Jani. I am also a full-time Parenting & Lifestyle Influencer and go by the name @beingmom_andbeyond on social media platforms.
I have always been a creative person. When Alizah was born I used to shoot creative videos and pics of her to share with my family and friends. One thing led to another, and that’s when I realised that being a parenting Influencer is my true calling and started my Instagram page @beingmom_andbeyond.
I was 102 kgs when I was a teen around 15 years old. Since I was obese, I faced a lot of health issues at a very young age. That’s when I decided to take my health seriously and started my fitness journey.
You can only lead by example. For your kids to follow a healthy lifestyle, you need to follow the same first and set an example.
I truly believe whether a woman is a housewife or working, both jobs are equally demanding and one should not feel guilty regarding their choices or situations. Accept it and live life to the fullest in a given situation. This is the empowering message I would like to spread.
To be honest, it’s crazy! But with proper pre-planning and time management things can be achieved. Planning things to the minutest detail is my superpower, which in turn makes my life simple in many ways.
That would be eating a wholesome meal peacefully and catching up on sleep, uninterrupted.
Like I mentioned above, plan your day and stick to time management. Prioritize your health, because when you do that, you will definitely find a way to take out time for it.
Start with baby steps. Let your mind and body get used to changes and then keep advancing from there slowly and steadily. It’s always advisable to consult a professional when it comes to workouts and nutrition.
The sheer exhaustion that comes with motherhood is something I face every day, and that’s the biggest challenge for me.
The unconditional love you get from your little one is priceless. Your kid accepts you during your best and worst times and that’s very precious.
I intend to provide parents with relevant information and insights to help them better care for themselves and their children.
Through the advisory board, I want to share my experiences as a mother, with other moms and build a very organic community of moms, where realistic problems can be shared and solutions can be achieved.
