Clueless about what the must-haves are? We’ve put together a must-have list for 7 months of pregnancy, to help you sail through the next few months with ease and comfort.

What Are The Changes That Happen To Your Body During 7 Months Of Pregnancy?

During the 7th month of pregnancy, your body undergoes significant changes as your baby continues to grow and develop. By this stage, your baby is becoming more active, and you may feel frequent movements and kicks. Your abdomen expands further, and you may notice your belly button protruding.

As your uterus expands, it can exert more pressure on your organs, leading to occasional discomfort and shortness of breath. Additionally, you might experience increased fatigue and difficulty sleeping due to hormonal changes and the size of your belly.

Swelling in your feet and ankles may become more pronounced, and you may need to adjust your footwear accordingly. It’s important to prioritize self-care, rest, and regular prenatal check-ups during this crucial phase of your pregnancy.

A Must-Have Checklist For 7 Months of Pregnancy

Maternity Clothing

As your baby bump grows, it’s time to update your wardrobe with comfortable and stylish maternity clothing. Invest in stretchy leggings, maternity jeans, loose-fitting tops, and dresses that accommodate your changing shape.

Don’t forget to include a supportive maternity bra and a few pairs of comfortable shoes. With these essentials, you’ll be able to dress comfortably while maintaining your style.

Body Pillows

Sleeping comfortably during pregnancy can be challenging, especially in the later stages. Body pillows, such as pregnancy wedges and full-body pillows, can provide the extra support and cushioning you need.

They help relieve pressure on your back, hips, and knees, promoting better sleep. Experiment with different shapes and sizes to find the one that suits you best.

Maternity Underwear

Comfortable underwear designed specifically for pregnant women is a must. Look for maternity underwear made from breathable fabrics that provide gentle support.

Opt for styles with wider waistbands to accommodate your growing belly and avoid unnecessary discomfort. Investing in a few pairs of these will make a noticeable difference in your day-to-day comfort.

Pregnancy Books and Apps

Expand your knowledge and stay informed about the changes happening in your body and the development of your baby. There are numerous pregnancy books and apps available that provide valuable information, tips, and advice.

Choose ones that resonate with your style and preferences. These resources can be both educational and enjoyable, helping you navigate the journey with confidence.

Skincare Products

During pregnancy, hormonal changes can impact your skin. Maintain a healthy and radiant complexion by investing in gentle skincare products. Look for moisturisers, cleansers, and stretch mark creams specifically formulated for pregnant women. You may want to consider natural and pregnancy-safe products by The Moms Co.

Avoid products containing harsh chemicals or retinol. Remember to consult your healthcare provider before using any new products to ensure they are safe for you and your baby.

Comfortable Supportive Shoes

As your body changes, your feet may experience swelling and discomfort. Invest in a few pairs of comfortable and supportive shoes that provide adequate arch support. Opt for shoes with a wider toe box to accommodate any swelling.

Choose comfort over style, but don’t worry, there are plenty of stylish options available that offer both.

Hospital Bag Essentials

With the due date approaching, it’s crucial to pack a well-prepared hospital bag. Include essentials such as comfortable clothing, toiletries, nursing bras, nursing pads, and maternity pads. Don’t forget important documents, like your identification and health insurance information.

Pack some snacks and entertainment items to help pass the time during labour. Also, consider including items to make the hospital room feel more comfortable, such as a cosy blanket or pillow. Having a well-stocked and organised hospital bag will ensure a smoother experience when the time comes.

As you embrace the 7 months of your pregnancy, being prepared and equipped with the essentials will help you enjoy this special time. By following this must-have checklist for 7 months of pregnancy, you’ll be able to navigate the coming months with comfort, style, and confidence.

Enjoy this exciting journey and get ready to welcome your little one!
