“We hope to build a stronger and more resilient version of tomorrow.”

Shruti Ajmera Reddy is the Founder of Hapup, a health food company, dedicated to bringing back tasty food options into our lifestyles.

Upon discovering that over 90% of baby food on the market contained harmful chemicals such as mercury, arsenic, and lead—posing potential long-term health risks for children—Shruti was compelled to take action. Recognising the critical need for a safer alternative, she embarked on the journey of establishing her baby food brand as the imperative solution.

Following thorough market research, Shruti founded Hapup in 2018, in collaboration with Leading paediatricians, nutritionists, and food scientists from the Indian Institute of Millet Research and National Institute of Nutrition, to make proprietary Hapup Mixes—that balance the wisdom of traditional Indian recipes with the insights from modern science. Hapup’s offerings stand out for being completely free from preservatives, chemicals, added salt, or sugar.

Although initially focused on products for children, the brand has since expanded its offerings to include products for adults. Shruti envisions Hapup making a significant impact by offering healthy lifestyle choices. She shares, “Our aim is to provide conscious living solutions for individuals of all ages. We want to be a part of everyone’s daily lifestyle choice in the country.”

Today, the Hyderabad-based company has successfully catered to thousands of customers in over 190 cities and villages across India. Due to its innovative strategies and revolutionary products, Hapup was also recognised as one of the top ventures by Standford Seed. With this acknowledgement, Shruti expresses her confidence in propelling Hapup to new heights. She envisions the brand playing a crucial role in alleviating the number one worry of mothers across India—ensuring they are feeding their children right.
