1)Wrap the fruits and vegetables in newspaper before refrigerating to keep them fresh for longer time.
2)To make softer chapattis, add warm milk or curd while kneading
3)Adding few drops of oil to the rice before cooking it will prevent it from becoming sticky.
4)Grind some common salt in your mixer/grinder for some time every month. This will keep your mixer blades sharp.

Common salt means the one tht we use in cooking(tata etc) or the rock salt(khada namak)
