I am an arthritis patient and there are times when i really suffer from excruciating pain. It kind of makes me immobile and it kind of affects my kid as well. I cannot step out so our little Biryani is also caught indoors. She is an extremely understanding child so doesn't complain at all of not being able to go out to the park to play. As a mother somewhere i feel that because of my health issues she is getting affected and I should not let this happen. What i do during this time is make her involved in DIY activities which she enjoys doing. This time she made photo frames herself by using plaster of Paris and paintings. She learnt how to mix PoP herself, the ratio of water is to PoP, mixing rwo colours to make a different colour altogether and also paint a photo frame all by herself. It took her 3 days to complete the entire frame and that took care of the evenings we couldn't step out. This way I didn't let my kid feel sad instead motivated her to learn something new and creative. Biryani made me proud with her patience and effort and what was even more heartwarming was she presenting her first ever photo frame to her best friend. 🤗 Arthritis pain is something on which i don't have control at times but that doesn't deter me to concentrate on something creative and innovative when it comes to parenting. We should be bold enough to find new avenues for ourselves and never suffer from self pity. I am a parenting consultant and i will be happy to help parents facing issues and problems related to parenting.
