I'm a working mom. And one hell proud, working parent. Until, I realized how difficult it is to stay at home and work, manage all chores, comfort children, and still remain sane.

We stay in a nuclear family by choice. My son had a bad fall and I decided to work from home for a day. Believe me, it was the hardest work day for me. My son wanted me the whole time. I don't blame him. He was hurt and definitely looked at me for comfort. And I had a tough time managing work. My husband took this picture when he returned home. I was briefing my team at work while my son found his cozy little world in me.

Do I regret being a working mom. Well, honestly, no. Luckily, I love my work and it drives me every single day. It doesn't seem like work to me. But do I feel I could be a better parent? You bet! I am most often ridden by guilt, thinking I can't spend time with him. Yet again, I choose to go to work, every single day, with same gusto. And I return to see the smiling face and a hug that makes me forget everything. .
