Last few weeks have made me realize how difficult it is to rear a child alone. Therefore, this #husbandappreciationpost .
Most often I hear how it takes a village to raise a child. A strong support system can help you tide over anything. My husband has so smoothly incorporated child rearing into his routine, no wonder my son is a daddy's boy.
.
.
I've known him since 17-18 years; we dated since 13 years and have been married for 8 years. When you know a person this long you often take him/her for granted, not acknowledging little things that the person has been unassumingly doing for you. Sometimes, it is imperative that you let the other one know how much you value these things. .
.
I wouldn't have been able breeze through all these years hadn't he stepped up and volunteered for all the things the society would expect only a woman to do. Equal parenting doesn't mean just loving the child. It also means parents loving each other equally, respecting each other equally, and understanding each other equally. .
.
Another post in a few days to tell you all he does for my son and what has been happening since a last few weeks.
.
.
Until then, I can tell you, I'm really blessed. And it's really tough to parent alone. All you single parents out there, you all are super amazing! All you parents who do it all by yourself, without any help, I see you. You are the real superheroes the world needs. The ones who try their best to raise good humans the world needs in future.
