Spinach Khichdi
Ingredients :

1.Moong dal ( split green gram) -1 tbsp
2.Masoor dal ( red lentils)-1 tbsp
3.Rice - 3 tbsp
4.Spinach leaves - 4-5 tbsp

Preparation :
1.Wash and soak the rice and both dals in water for half an hour
2. In a pressure cooker, add the Rice and Dal
3. Add chopped spinach
4. Add 2 cups of water and pressure cook till 2 whistles
5, After the steam is released, mash it to avoid chunks .
6. The khichdi can also be blended in a grinder.
7. Pour the khichdi in a bowl and feed with a baby spoon
Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby.
