Winter is officially here! And there is no better way to enjoy winter than to keep minor ailments like cough and cold at bay. I'm sharing an old concoction recipe that my mom would brew especially in winters. My friend dipti had recently shared it too.

Take 4 cups of water. Throw in 2 teaspoons of coriander seeds, some freshly cut lemongrass, 3-4 peppercorns, a half-inch cinnamon stick, a small stub of ginger, and 1-2 teaspoons of jaggery. Boil this mixture until it reduces to half. And it's done.

Adults can have around 50 ml of this concoction throughout the day. You can reduce the dose and safely give this to your kids too.
