Moong Dal ka paani is one of the first baby foods most commonly followed among new moms. Rich in nutrition and helps digestion.
Ingredients :
Yellow Moong Dal - 2 spoons
Water - 1 glass
Hing - Pinch
Turmeric - Pinch (optional)
Preparation:
1.Wash and soak the daal for about 30 minutes
2. Take a pressure cooker and add the soaked daal, hing and turmeric with water
3.Cook the daal for 2-3 whistles and strain the water
4. Cool the strained daal water and feed the baby with a spoon
Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby.
