I have yet not met a single person who has not gorged on popsicles, chuski, kulfi, ice candy etc in summers . Come summers and kids start demanding ice cream. Too many ice creams are not healthy but sometimes It’s a good way to beat the summer heat. Though, we eat ice creams outside too, I love making them at home as they are prepared with best quality ingredients and hygiene.

I am sharing my popsicle recipe for orange, mango, lemon and pineapple candy. Do try these and see your kids getting so happy!!

1. Orange Candy (For 6 candies)

  • 3-4 medium sized oranges
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera powder
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Chopped mint leaves (optional)
  • Water for cooking

Method:

  • In a grinder, blend the oranges and sieve them well for juice.
  • In a pan take 2 cups of water and add sugar to it and heat till it dissolves. Then let it cool to room temperature.
