Healthy Drumstick Soup Recipe

Drumsticks are rich in Iron, Vitamin C and are good source of dietary fibre,  potassium, magnesium and manganese.


Apart from.making drumstick sambhar, aloo drumstick sabji,  we make drumstick soup which is very good for backache and helps in making joints strong.
Here is the easy recipe:



  • 2-3 drumstick cut into small pieces
  • 3-4 garlic pods (grated or crushed
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • Coriander leaves and curry leaves handful
  • 2 glasses of water



  • Put all the ingredients in cooker.
  • Add salt and ghee as per taste.
  • Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
  • Pour clear soup in bowls and eat drumsticks along with it.



The above quantity serves around 2-3 people.
