I came across goodness of pear fruit when my baby was constipated for long. After trying many remedies, this is the best one and most effective.

What does pear contain?

It is a fulfilling fruit that contains vitamin C and K, fiber, potassium, vital  nutrients and antioxidants.

Health benefits for babies:

 

  • Effective in treating constipation.
  • Easy to digest and fat-free
  • Improves immunity
  • Prevents reflux and colic

How to give it to baby?

It can be given in puree/ mash form: peel the pear. Cut into small pieces and put it into a vessel. Add some water and let it boil for 4-5 minutes. Let it cool. Use a little water to grind to make a puree.

Another form is to give with oatmeal: add little pieces of boiled pear or add mash to oatmeal for a fulfilling meal.

Health benefits for adults:

It is equally beneficial for adults. It has zero cholesterol and so reduces diabetes, reduces chances of cardio risk and helps to lose weight. It increases immunity and heals the wounds fast.

Pear is a superfruit that has health benefits for all.  It can be used as one of the first foods for baby.
