Recipe: Carrot Millet

Ingredients:

 

  • Little Millet - 1 bowl
  • Carrot - half bowl/1 carrot( chopped)
  • Tomato - half bowl/1 tomato (chopped)
  • Ginger -Garlic Paste- 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder- ½ teaspoon
  • Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt - according to taste
  • Hing- a pinch
  • Olive oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 bowls

 

Method:

 

  • Clean millet and wash properly.
  • Soak in water for 10 min.
  • Take a pan add oil.
  • After that, add Hing & ginger-garlic paste.
  • Next, add chopped tomato and carrot.
  • Add soaked millet and dry spices(red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt)
  • Add water and mix properly.
    Cook for 15-20 min.


Serve hot


You can garnish with chopped coriander leaves or dill leaves.
