Bring in 2017 With a Double Chocolate Cookie!

RECIPE:

1. Flour – 150 gms

2. Dark Chocolate – 125 gms

3. Cocoa Powder – 30 gms

4. Baking Soda – 5 gms

5. Salt to taste

6. Butter 125 gms

7. Caster Sugar – 125 gms

8. Vanilla Essence 1 tsp

9. Eggs – 1

10. Chocolate Chips – 350 gms

 

 

METHOD:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips.

3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or just until set. Cool slightly on the cookie sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
