1. Avocado Puree

Ingredients

Avocado 1

Lemon 1

Breastmilk or formula milk 

Method

  • All you need to do is halve a ripe avocado, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.
  • Add it to a blender and blend it, adding breastmilk, formula, or water if needed or desired to thin.

2. Bean Puree

Ingredients

A bowlful of chickpeas, black beans, pinto beans, and white beans mixed

Water 1/2 cup

Method

  • If you are using canned beans, rinse and drain them for the best flavour.
  • Place the beans into the blender along with the water and blend until smooth.
  • Adding additional water as desired for a smooth consistency

3. Blueberry Puree

Ingredients

Blueberries: A handful

Water: 2 cups

Recipe

  • Add the blueberries to your blender.
  • Blend them until very smooth.
  • Add enough water to make it easy for the blender to work.

4. Kiwi Puree

Ingredients

Kiwi: 4

Water: As needed

Recipe

  • Peel the brown skin from the fruit and add the fruit to a blender.
  • Blend it until very smooth.
  • Adding a little water if needed.

5. Mango Puree

Ingredients

Fresh mango: 1

Water or breastmilk: As needed

Method

Pineapple chunks: 1 cup

Water as needed

Fresh strawberries: 5-6 

Method

  • Wash and pat the strawberries dry.
