I used to always dread the day when I would get my doll's hair cut done. Awarded with a free haircut option by Baby Chakra at Starfish Salon, I was still very apprehensive. I really prayed that my daughter did not cry. When we reached, I was even more upset to see a very small place. However, appearances can be deceptive and this was so true for Starfish salon too. From outside, a small ordinary looking salon, turned out to be magical inside. At the ground level, there were so many toys and books to keep the children busy till the hairdresser becomes free.

At the first level, kids have a choice of the seat they want for their haircut.....angry bird, minnie, etc.

Next, they are given a tablet and asked to select the haircut they want. Since my daughter was 2, I did the choosing for her....

Once they are comfy, the ids choose the cartoon or the nursery rhymes they want to see...and when they are watching the carton, snip snip snip goes the hairdresser.

I must commend the staff for the immense patience they showed.

The best part....my princess dint cry at all and my son too demanded a spiked haircut which was promptly given despite me having an appointment for only one kid.

Ohh yeah, not to forget the choco-pie , the owner hands out to each kid after their hair cut....

Now my daughter is looking forward for her next haircut...

She's happy and I'm even happier that there are no more tantrums as far as haircuts are concerned....
