Q:

I am in d 5th month of pregnancy,my question is I have put on 3kgs of weight in one month,
is that ok.

Good evening, no it is not. that's more than one should. Please see your gynaecologist to make sure all is well. Regards

everyone's weight gain is different. by the 9th month the baby, the fluid and the placenta weighs around 8kg. 10 to 12 kg weight gain in pregnancy is in a healthy range. eat well and exercise daily. avoid over eating and eating junk food ( processed food and food with sugar ).

Please see your gynaecologist to make sure all is well a gain of 3kg in a month is excessive. I do not agree with the above comment. Regards

I have personally felt that both my pregnancies were different... during my first I gained more as compared to the second one... during my second pregnancy my weight gain was very little contrary to the first one...
my gynac got some tests done to be assured that the baby was doing fine... when in doubt do check with your doctor... however I do believe each pregnancy is different

i too have gained 3kg in my fifth month but after this I am trying to cut down my calories and sweet tooth..... because it's too early to gain this much weight.and rest things are fine
